RefWorks classes at Steelcase Library

RefWorks, the reference manager program, can save you lots of time and angst. This week the Steelcase Library is providing RefWorks instruction to help you get started with this powerful program. These half-hour sessions are designed to help you get started with RefWorks and provide individual assistance.

All sessions are from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m. January 26, 27, 28, and 29 in the Steelcase Library instruction room. Attend one, or attend them all. Refreshments will be provided; no reservations required. For more information, call 331-7338.

StoryCorps audio interviews added to Digital Collections

The Michigan Philanthropy Oral History Project, a partnership between the Council of Michigan Foundations, StoryCorps, Michigan Radio and the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership at Grand Valley State University, has added a growing collection of audio interviews to the Digital Collections database.

Library 101: Learn how to use library resources

Stymied by the plethora of library resources available to you? Don’t know where to start?

Attending one or more of the half-hour workshops at the Steelcase Library can help you figure it all out. The first series, Library 101, will show you how to:
- navigate the library’s home page
- find books and other items in the library’s catalog
- effectively locate articles in databases
- obtain books or articles from other libraries

All sessions are from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m. January 12, 13, 14, and 15. Attend one, or attend them all. Librarians will be available to answer any questions and provide individual assistance. Refreshments will be provided; no reservations required. For more information, call 331-7338.
